I am happy to report that the American pharma industry has come to market with the first federally recognized and approved over the counter medication for weight loss: Alli This wonder drug lets you eat about 15 grams of fat at a meal (a touch over one tablespoon of olive oil or one ounce of dry roasted peanuts) and then all the fat additional fat, over 15 grams, is sent straight to your undershorts. Pass go? You bet! Doesn’t exactly sound…user friendly.

Will the demand for adult diapers go up? That should be easy to track for a company like P&G: If the larger sizes start flying off the shelf, we have a winner. Of course, if the tiny sizes go too, we’ll suspect bulimics may be using Alli to practice their disease.
