Who’s tunnel is it anyway?

Seen on a t-shirt: “Due to a change in the congress, the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned back on.”

Cute but crap.

I am a registered voter and I seldom miss an election. I am registered as “un-enrolled”, which means I am not affiliated with a political party. That said, I generally vote Democratic, and lately, its been at least as much a vote against the Republican as a vote for the Democrat.

Let’s be real though. Democrats can’t agree on squat. Well, that’s not quite right. They agree that Bush and his war suck. No, wait. Lieberman supports the war. No wait, Lieberman is no longer a Democrat except he votes with the Democratic side of the aisle…most of the time. No, wait. The Democratic side of the aisle is what? There are more holes in Democratic unity then in a Rumsfeld post war plan.

Republicans have proven time and again that, if nothing else, they can pull together behind a bad idea. Democrats can’t seem to get behind lunch.

Later…
