Misterimpatient

I joined a CSA over the winter. CSA is Community Supported Agriculture. In exchange for a couple hundred bucks AND 6 hours of labor (2 hours at a time), I get a one half share, which means I get to pick up freshly harvested veggies every two weeks starting June 19th. This is a first for me. I eat a ton of veggies so why not try?

Today was my first two hour stint at labor. Because I’m a rookie, it was all stoop labor: filling in holes, shoveling dirt on plastic behind a tractor. I’m beat and I expect to hurt tomorrow, or later today if I take a nap. This isn’t feeling like quite as good an idea but what the hell. 2 hours done, 4 to go. I can do this.
