Not your father’s firehouse
I love this story.

Yes my friends, you read that correctly. We have vegan firefighters in Austin Tx.
It seems one of the team had dangerously high cholesterol and decided to take steps. Bravo. They have a website, but its a bit hard to get to today. I haven’t been able to look at the recipes. Not sure if it’s their site or the volume on traffic the article must be generating.
FTR, I used to be fishatarian but this past summer I wanted to see how giving up dairy affected me. So, for one month I decided to eat meat and eliminate dairy. This is only a test. I loved it. I felt better. More energy, etc. I now eat meat again and dairy. I wish I didn’t feel like I had to do this, but today, I do.
